Our Mission
The mission of I.S. 349, The School of Math, Science and Technology is to provide each student with an outstanding opportunity to achieve academic excellence in a small learning environment which fosters a strong sense of community within a culturally diverse student body. Individual achievement is balanced through an emphasis on cooperation, teamwork, and a concern for all constituents within the school community, such as parents, students and school staff. Science math and technology are integral parts of our school. In addition we are committed to integrating the cultural richness of our students into all curriculum areas. All of this will prepare our students to be lifelong learners and productive members of the world.
