    A Message from Your Principal

        Welcome to the website of Intermediate School 230! As the principal, I am proud to share some information about the work we are accomplishing at our school as we focus on “Moving from Good to Great!”

        At I.S. 230 we recognize that middle level students experience great changes intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically during the years between elementary and high school. We have dedicated, caring, staff members that are committed to help students successfully transition through these years.

        Our school offers several programs during the school day and after school for students who need extra academic instruction. There are a multitude of extra-curricular and co-curricular offerings for students. Our website has been designed for students, parents  and teachers to help increase communication between home and school.
