Grant Writing Team Bios
Whitney Scott
I am a fourth year special education teacher at P.S. 127Q. I attended P.S. 127 from kindergarten to eighth grade. I won’t tell you which years. I am interested in exposing children to the world around them in a more positive light. I joined grant writing to further this interest. I believe that this team will get students the resources and supports they need to become positive well rounded contributors in society.
Kristina Seligson
I teach 6th grade English Language Arts and Enrichment. This is my first year being part of the PS/IS 127 educational family. I joined the grant writing team because I wanted to help bring more resources to our school. I believe that the collective efforts of this team can help provide our students with more opportunities for achievement and success.
Keri Willis
I’m a seventh year English Language Arts teacher. This is my second year here at P.S./I.S. 127. I am also certified as an Educational Technology Specialist. I joined the grant writing team because I enjoy incorporating technology into my lessons as much as possible.
Daniel Mark
I am a second year Special Education teacher. This is my first year at P.S./I.S. 127Q, I come here from Village Academy in Far Rockaway. I am also a Math and Social Studies teacher, and an assistant coach for C.W. Post Basketball. I joined the grant writing team to help improve the resources within the school to help maximize teaching efficiency.

Hello! My name is Ms. Ramirez. This is my first year at P.S. 127Q. I teach 8th grade English Language Arts. I joined the Grant Writing Team in order to improve the resources available for my students.

Hello, My name is Ms. McGowan, I am a 3rd year Special Education teacher, specializing in mathematics. I formed the grant writing team in the hopes of bringing more resources to our educational community.
