Ellen McNulty

Ellen McNulty has been working with us at The Scholars' Academy for over 4 years now.  Her main objective is to ensure our students are healthy and safe in the building, school yard and even on trips.  In the case of an illness or injury she is here to treat, protect and provide assistance to all students, parents and staff.  Ellen's open door policy enables students and staff to feel comfortable walking into her office with any concern or question.  When you aren't feeling 100% Mrs. McNulty will provide you with an area to rest, some juice to make you feel better and a phone to call home on.  Many students love Ellen's office so much they spend too much time in there.  Without a doubt this staff member deserves to be recognized.  She is also responsible to keep on file and organized all allergy medications, epi-pens, prescriptions and asthma pumps for dozens of Scholars' students.  Ellen communicates with parents constantly and puts them at ease ensuring their children are safe and healthy while at school.  Ellen has a daughter Molly who is now in college, a native Rockaway resident Ellen enjoys spending the summer on the beach with family n friends.  A hard worker, helpful colleague and motherly figure to all students our staff member of January Mrs. Ellen McNulty!
