Jennifer Lewner
Ms. Lewner joined the Scholars' Academy staff in 2009 as a mathematics teacher. Ms. Lewner's incredible professionalism and drive to be the best teacher she can be was immediately evident to her students, parents and colleagues. Over the past three years, Ms. Lewner has demonstrated all of the exceptional qualities of an Outstanding Scholar Staff member! She spends hours at home on the weekends planning engaging lessons and assessments for her students and always shares her ideas with her colleagues. She has become known as one of our technology experts since our "Technology Today" initiative began, training other teachers and administrators on vimeo, screencasts and the smart board. Ms. Lewner volunteered for training with the Lego Robotics program and was able to revive this program as a 6th and 7th grade elective this year. Ms. Lewner is also a valued member of our professional development team.
