Dear Parents/Guardians,
If you were not able to attend the Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 15th and did not receive your child's report card, please send a note to your child's teacher to request an appointment.
The state assessments for grades 3, 4, and 5 are upon us and everyone is working hard to insure the success of your child. The ELA assessment begins Tuesday, May 3rd and ends on Thursday, May 5th. The state math assessment begins May 11th and ends May 12th. Grades 3, 4, and 5 have a strict promotional criterion. Students in these grades must pass both NYS Assessments in English Language Arts and Math to be promoted. It is imperative that students in all grades complete all of their assignments. Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 must attend summer school if they do not pass both assessments.
Grade five senior trip is scheduled for Friday, June 17th to Club Getaway in Connecticut. The final payment for the trip is due on Friday, May 20th.
Lunch money is due each Monday. It is important that you pay any money that is owed. We will continue to send payment due notices to those of you that have an outstanding balance. Lunch money for children who are designated as having to pay for lunch, must be paid either weekly or monthly. The school cannot assume this financial burden. Please place a money order (P.S. 123Q) or cash in an envelope with your child's name and class clearly labeled.

Please submit the Learning Survey to Ms PauPaw by April 15th a n dhave a chance to win four (4) tickets to see the Broadway musical "Sister Act" in our grand prize drawing on April 27th. All parents/guardians who were entered into the weekly drawing are automatically entered in the grand prize drawing.
