Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to February! As hard as we try to assist the children with their outer garments, far too many wind up in the lost and found area. We are only able to keep these unclaimed garments for two weeks before they are donated to a homeless shelter. So please label your children's clothing in some way so that they can be returned to their rightful owner.
The school day begins for students in grades K-5 at 8:10AM. Breakfast begins at 7:40AM for students in grades K-5.
No students are allowed in the building prior to 7:40AM. Please contact 311 for information concerning weather related school closings.
When visiting the school for any reason, you must show photo identification to the School Safety Officer or designee at the desk in the lobby. Without proper identification, you will not be allowed to enter the building. This is for the safety of all students and staff members.
Promotion-in-doubt letters will be mailed by February 10th. If you receive this letter, please contact the school to make an appointment to meet with your child's teacher. Teachers can only be seen on their free period and you must have an appointment.
Liberty Learning Labs will be the after school service provider for tutorial instruction for qualified students only. If your child rides a school bus home, then you must opt for at home tutoring. You can receive this tutoring from Liberty Learning Labs or another vendor. The vendors are listed in the registration book that you received. Please attend the S.E.S. Fair on Tuesday, February 7th from 4:00pm - 5:30pm. This program is for students who qualified for free lunch as of December 31, 2011. All applications must be received by February 15th.

Please pay your overdue lunch bill. The school should not have to pay your bills. Lunch money is collected each Monday in the form of cash or money order.
