About Me:
Ms. Gruttadaro received a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University at Buffalo and a Masters Degree in Education from Hofstra University. She holds permanent certification from New York State in Elementary Education, Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education. She loves to teach! She also loves to travel, read and spend time with her husband, three children and dog. She looks forward to a great year with her students.

Homework:
Homework is given daily. Please check your child’s “take home folder” each day for homework and notices.
Birthday Policy:
Please write a note if you would like to send in any treats for your child’s birthday celebration.
Star Student: In K/1-216 we recognize students who have done their very best in our class. Please have your child wear a white shirt on Star Student Assembly days. These days are on our school calendar.
Wish List: We welcome and appreciate all donations for our classroom. The children love getting new books for our classroom library.
Class News: The best way to communicate with me is to write a note and send it in your child’s “take home folder”. I am always available to meet with you. Please send a note to request and schedule a meeting. If your child will not be taking his/her regularly scheduled bus home you must send a note. Our weekly schedule for special classes is:
- Monday-gym
- Tuesday-gym
- Wednesday-art and music
- Thursday-library
- Friday-computer
Please have your child wear sneakers on days that we have gym.
