Welcome Students and Parents!
On behalf of the entire Cavallaro staff, I would like to welcome you to Joseph B. Cavallaro Intermediate School 281 for the 2008-2009 school year.
Over the last few years, there have been many changes to the structure and administration of the New York City Department of Education. There have also been numerous changes in curriculum. As we embark on the new school year, the administrative team is eager to get you off to a great start. We expect our students to work cooperatively and tirelessly to achieve standards set forth by the state and the city. Our staff has high expectations for each and every Cavallaro student. Teachers are looking forward to challenging minds in creative and imaginative ways.
The Cavallaro staff, parents, and students have reputations for working together to make sure all students enjoy safe, healthy, successful middle school experiences.
