  • Our Mission
    The mission of Seth Low IS 96 is to provide an effective learning environment for all students in its culturally diverse population. We will stress learning fundamentals in order to prepare our students for the real world of the twenty-first century. They will develop critical thinking skills in academic subjects, along with high proficiency in technology and arts-based curricula. Together with parents and the community, we will offer programs and services to prepare students for a lifetime of active, responsible citizenship.

    The Bensonhurst Community Council, The Federation of Italian-American Organizations and other organizations work very closely with us. We are a very successful Beacon school. We also are a provider of various Supplemental Education programs, which are also locally based.
  • Extracurricular Activities
    Seth Low has a number of extracurricular activities to augment each student's learning experience.
