Special Programs

Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Education Complex is divided into three Academies: Powell Academy of Law (PAL) focuses on issues of law and social justice; Powell Law Enforcement Academy (PLEA) focuses on law enforcement and forensics; Powell Academy of Music and Art (PAMA) is a "talent" component with emphasis on the performing arts.
