    GRAMERCY ARTS HIGH SCHOOL

    HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

    -    English: 8 credits and English Regents or 2 RCT

    -Global Studies: 4credits and Regents or RCT

    -U.S. History: 2 credits and Regents or RCT

    -U.S. Government: 1 credit

    -Economics: 1 credit

    -    Math: 6 credits (2 ALG, 2 GEO, 2 ADV ALG/Stats or Math B)
    and     Regents or RCT

    -Science: 6 credits, including 2 years of lab and     Regents or RCT

    -Foreign Language    : at least 2 credits

    -Health: 1 credit

     -Physical Education: 7 semesters

    -Electives: Art Major (at least 2 in art major)

    *Regents Diploma = 65 or better on 5 Regent Exams (Algebra*, Living Environment**, English, Global History, and US History)

     *Advanced Regent Diploma = Criteria for Regent Diploma plus additional Science, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and Foreign Language or Art Regent.

     *Local Diploma = Students with IEPs can replace failed Regent Exams with Passed Regent Competency Tests (RCTs).
