The motto of the Women’s Group is Embrace, Protect, Pride & Keep Your Head Up
The mission for the Women’s Group is to empower the young women to speak about women’s issues. The group provides female students at MSCD the opportunity to get together for an hour and just talk about issues of importance to them.
The goals of the group include:
- Increase self esteem
- Improve communication skills
- Teach conflict resolutions techniques
- Provide confidential and safe environment
- Assist in peer mediation
- Enable self-discovery
