The Division of Teaching and Learning provides professional development opportunities throughout the year to deepen instructional expertise at the school level and support schools in achieving their student achievement goals.  How do I register and pay for courses?

Beginning September 22, participants wishing to attend a Teaching and Learning professional development course must first visit the Protraxx registration system at http://pd.nycoit.org to sign up for the course.  After a participant has signed up for a fee-based course, the course request will appear in the school’s FAMIS home page under “PD Requests” and Principals and Purchasing Secretaries will be able to select the course and create a purchase order at that time.  Participant enrollment in professional development courses will be confirmed once payment has been received, and enrollment will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.  Please note that schools will no longer be able to pay for a course in FAMIS until the registration step has been completed.
