Assistant Principal Positions


Assistant Principal vacancies are generally posted at the beginning and middle of each month and will be open for at least 15 days. Posting dates may be adjusted for holidays or weekends.  Applications must be submitted online.  Please follow the links to find your desired position.


Persons seeking supervisory/administrative positions with the New York City Department of Education must hold the appropriate state certification and a Certificate of Eligibility for Supervisory Placement issued by the Division of Human Resources. You may apply for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) online via the
Supervisory Eligibility Pool (SEP) Web site.

Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter for all other positions (e.g. Educational Administrators, Learning Support Organizations, Integrated Service Centers, Empowerment Schools Organization, etc.).
