The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) is seeking proposals from eligible and experienced organizations to provide new criterion-referenced assessments of reading achievement and mathematics for the New York City school system as part of the Summer Assessment Program. Vendors will provide and develop summer assessment programs aligned with New York State English Language Arts (ELA) and New York State Mathematics Standards. Moreover, vendors must provide a plan on how they propose to construct unique test forms for each year of the contract, either by conducting yearly off-grade field tests in the fall prior to the given assessment or by proposing another solution for the creation of the assessments and must create, in the first year of the contract, a practice test for each grade level that may be reused in subsequent years in the contract and possible extensions. Prospective vendors may apply for the ELA and/or Mathematics programs. There will be one award for ELA and one award for Math, but it may be the same vendor.

The NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) related to Common-ID Services (CIDS) Including Access and Exit Control, Student Attendance Collection, Food Service Purchases and Asset Management. The NYCDOE wants to purchase an available and proven solution for managing these services that can be keyed to a secure student identification device, generally called an ID or ID card. This RFP collectively calls all these ID-based services - Common-ID Services (CIDS).
