Our Mission

The family of Bleeker Junior High School, comprised of parents, children, staff, and community leaders, strives to give our students the strong educational foundation needed to achieve excellent academic and social skills. JHS 185 challenges students academically and seeks to foster students' self-esteem in a culturally diverse environment. Our school meets the individual needs of all of our students as well as adhering to the Performance Standards of New York State. We provide our students with the educational experiences that will benefit them as active lifelong learners and throughout their future endeavors.
