I would like to thank Mrs. Kutza, my Anatomy and Physiology teacher at New Dorp High School. After transferring from a Catholic school in my senior year, I was having a hard time adjusting to the very different public school environment. Of course I missed my friends at my old school, but I also missed the teachers that I had gotten to know so well over the three years I was there. I felt lost without the old family of teachers and friends I was used to.
Mrs. Kutza not only noticed that I was new to the school, but was there to welcome and help me in any way she could. Her words of encouragement inspired me to strive to do my best in all of my new classes. With a nursing background, she truly has a passion for the subject of Anatomy, and that is what makes her a great teacher. Her way of combining the curriculum with creativity and fun makes me enjoy learning in her class.
Thank you for making my last (and only) year at New Dorp High School a little easier and more memorable!
