Dress Code/Uniform Policy

·        FDA III is committed to creating an atmosphere focused on academic achievement and personal development. To this end, the school subscribes to a dress code.

·        All Scholars are expected to adhere to the dress code. Parents, please review the guidelines with your child. Any uniform policy rules that are not followed will result in disciplinary action.

·        At all times clothing must be neat, clean and in good repair. Head coverings of any type (except those dictated by religious observance) may not be worn in school.

·        Scholars out of uniform will be sent to the Deans office, where they will change into uniform or call home.

·        Girls – collared, white button-down dress shirt/blouse NO POLO SHIRTS ALLOWED!; black skirt that covers the knees, black pants or black capris; maroon or black sweater, vest or blazer; black or white socks, tights or stockings; black dress shoes; FDA III tie.

·        Boys – collared, white button-down dress shirt NO POLO SHIRTS ALLOWED!; black pants with black belt; maroon or black sweater, vest or blazer; black or white socks; black dress shoes; FDA III tie.

All button-down dress shirts must be tucked in and visible; all pants must fit around the waist and not be excessively baggy or tight; Excessive jewelry is not permitted. Scholars will be asked to remove or conceal it; also; all headwear, Polo shirts, boots/sneaker shoes and colorful socks are not permitted.
