Payroll Portal Information

The Division of Financial Operations supports a web initiative that enables Department of Education (DOE) employees to access certain payroll information which includes the employee’s check stub information, adjustments, and deductions.  Employees can also enroll, update or cancel applications for Electronic Fund Transfer, the Transit Benefit Metro Card Program, the Transit Spending Account, Savings Bonds and the College Savings Program through the Payroll Portal.

The Payroll Portal application may only be accessed through the DOE Intranet.This application uses central domain authentication via active directory for user verification. By linking to the Payroll Portal site, the user will be prompted to enter his/her network or email user id and password. 

Central Domain authentication via Active Directory verifies that the user’s network or DOE email user id and password is active and valid in the DOE active central directory.  The user must be active in the DOE active central directory to be able to access the application. 

To access the payroll portal application go to https://payrollportal.nycboe.net. Upon linking to this address,the sign in box will appear.
