In 2007, the DOE implemented a Performance Management program to ensure that all divisions work together in an optimum fashion to achieve the Chancellor's Strategic Priorities. Through the annual performance cycle, employees create goals, track their progress and meet with their supervisors for the mid-year check-in and year-end evaluation, while supervisors review and approve the goals of their employees, monitor and support their employees' progress, and conduct a year-end evaluation.
Currently, the Performance Management program includes over 800 central and field-based employees on the Managerial Pay Plan. The sections below will help orient you to the program and answer any questions you may have.
