PS 20 is dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of our school community through a comprehensive educational process. This process involves collaborative effort, a rigorous school-wide curriculum, project-based instruction, and the infusion of arts and technology. We agree to hold high standards for academic achievement and responsible behavior, and to be responsive to the expressed needs and concerns of students, parents and all community members. We endeavor to promote school harmony and understanding, as well as personal morals and values, by embracing our great cultural diversity. Leadership and communication skills are nurtured and reinforced through opportunities to develop interpersonal relationships and a viable conflict resolution process.
Through implementation of the above, our children will compete not only regionally and nationally, but on a global level as well. Knowing that our children are unique, we look to insure that all children realize their full academic and social potential.
