During my years spent in high school, I have experienced many kinds of teachers. However, there is one teacher who has affected me the most. He was my freshmen English teacher and goes by the name of Mr. Cerini (Anthony Cerini). He is not only an English teacher, he also teaches drama. He has many responsibilities in the school such as running school plays, organizing our “Lehman Idol”, and teaching his musical theatre, drama, and English classes. He is unlike other teachers because he takes the time out to get to know his students. He has inspired me to strive for the best. He motivates his students by telling them of his life experiences and how he has achieved in life. He always makes sure that his students are comfortable and understand the lesson. Whenever I have a problem I know who to go to. If I am in need of help in school he’s never too busy. Teaching is his life, which is why he makes his kids his life. I appreciate him for everything he has done for me. I honestly feel that without him, I would not be doing as well as I am because he always made sure I was on the right track. I think that he should be acknowledged because he always puts his students first. Everyone deserves some recognition and I want him to see that he is appreciated for all he does. He is a teacher who will never be forgotten and I know I am not the only one who feels this way.
