Greeting from Khadija Abdul-Majid, Parent Coordinator

Welcome to our school, where we engage and empower our students to advocate for themselves and their world.  My name is Khadija Abdul-Majid, and I am the Parent Coordinator.  As the school year is now underway and I have met the students, it is now time for me to meet each and every parent so we can begin to work on our partnership in helping your child persevere academically.  In addition, my role as the parent coordinator is to provide you the parent with information and resources to promote learning in the home for your child(ren); however attendance is necessary and my role will be to make sure that your children are reaching 100% perfect attendance.

The most important key to your child’s success is your continuous involvement in our school community.  Throughout the school year, parents have the opportunity to meet the teachers, attend workshops to help you better understand what your child is learning in the classroom; participate in the parents association, and attend numerous events we will be hosting to celebrate student achievements.
