We are committed to the goal of making the SCA the premier public design and construction agency in the nation.
Welcome to the Architecture & Engineering (A&E) home page! A&E’s mission statement, as shown above, echoes the Authority’s Mission Statement. The Architecture & Engineering department at the School Construction Authority is responsible for the scoping and design of capital projects under budgets and requirements set forth by the NYC Department of Education.
A&E is comprised of five Studios, each guided by a Studio Director, and all working together under the leadership of our Departmental Vice President.
