The Past and Present of City Harvest at I.S.141Q

    • I.S.141Q is split into three small academies: The Jewels Academy, The Albert Einstein Academy, and The Shakespeare Academy
    • City Harvest was first done only in the Albert Einstein Academy (with 300 students) under the guidance of Miranda Pavlou as Assistant Principal. Over 3,000 pounds of food were collected.
    • When Miranda Pavlou became principal, the City Harvest initiative went school-wide.
    • Last year, through a friendly competition between the three academies, a total of 14,338 pounds were collected.
    • This year, again through a friendly competition between the three academies, a total of 29,482 pounds were collected.
