About the Survey
Frequently Asked Questions
Last year, over 216,000 parents participated in the survey. As a parent, your feedback on the Learning Environment Survey helps principals and school leaders work to improve your child's school. Survey results also contribute to your school's annual Progress Report grade.
Survey results will be released in the early summer.
District 75
This year the Survey Team has created a Learning Environment Survey for parents, teachers, and students in District 75 Special Education schools. We invite them to fill out a copy of this survey developed to articulate the experience of District 75 school communities. The
District 75 parent survey
is available online and in paper copy.
Parent Resources
We are offering a series of
Survey Sessions
(updated 3/27): opportunities for you to get help filling out your survey from someone in your community. Please check back often as additional dates may be added.
We have created a number of
promotional posters
that you can use to raise awareness of the Learning Environment Survey. Click on the images below to download these translated documents:

Edison Sanchez, a 6th grader at the Joseph S. Wade School in the Bronx, won a
student art contest
designed to promote the 2008 Learning Environment Survey.
The Survey Team has created a flier featuring Edison's artwork, which was selected by a panel of arts educators, artists, and community leaders from amongst hundreds of submissions from across the city. Please click on the links below to download the flier in the language of your choice.
