Gifted & Talented Admissions Update
G&T testing will take place between January 3 and February 10, 2012.Private school and current Pre-K students were sent a letter indicating the date, time and location of their test. If the RFT was submitted online, an email with this information was also sent. If you have not received notification of your child's test, please contact 212-374-6646 or email OAservicedesk@schools.nyc.gov.Public school students were sent a test confirmation letter from their school. If the RFT was submitted online, an email was also sent. Your school will notify you of the exact test date at least 48 hours before it is administered. The 2011 – 2012 Gifted & Talented Handbooks are now available for download.
These handbooks provide information about the process for requesting testing, the assessments, eligibility and placement, a list of kindergarten through third grade G&T programs, and what families can do to help their children prepare for the tests.
