
As the CHAMPS MSBL regular season concludes, we get ready to start round 1 of the play-offs. There will be 24 boys teams and 8 girls teams tipping off on Saturday May 12th all around the city!

For some students, rugby is a lot more than just a game. Fourteen boys and girls are running down the basketball court at Public and Middle School 218 in the South Bronx, N.Y. Their speed signals the intensity of the competition. Yet the nets above them on either end of the court hang idle.

The Office of School Wellness Programs is excited about the upcoming 2012 CHAMPS Middle School Basketball League. Teams will be participating in 5 regular season games plus the play-offs throughout the spring.

New CHAMPS coaches can get off to a good start by obtaining important information to aid them in running a successful program.

The one-time CHAMPS application covering fall, winter and spring seasons for the 2011-12 school year is now closed.
